Ends (tops, fronts)

Ends - or the front, top, ball of the piercing jewelry.

You will find two types of ends in our webshop - ends for internally threaded jewelry and ends for threadless jewelry.

The ends for threadless jewelry can be used with all thicknesses of jewelry (unless clearly indicated otherwise). So if you have different piercings with different thicknesses of jewelry, you could in principle change the ends and wear them in different piercings regardless of the thickness of the needed jewelry. These ends only fit threadless jewelry - the thin pin of the end fits into the narrow opening in the jewelry. The pins on threadless jewelry must be bent slightly to engage with the rod. We ship threadless ends with a bent pin so you can easily change the jewelry yourself and be sure of a secure closure.

The thin pin attached to thredless ends can pose a danger if it is accidentally loosened and swallowed. Therefore, threadless jewelry is not suitable for oral piercings!

The ends for internally threaded jewelry come in two sizes:

Ends that fit jewelry with a thickness of 1.0mm and 1.2mm (16ga and 18ga) - These are usually the ear, nose, lip, eyebrow piercings.

Ends that fit jewelry with a thickness of 1.6mm and 2.0mm (14ga and 12ga). Bridge, nipple, navel, tongue, but sometimes ear or face piercings. Intimate piercings in women are often set with a jewelry thickness of 1.6.. or 2.0mm. In men, thicker jewelry is used.

So the ends for internally threaded jewelry only fit jewelry with internal threads (the thread is on the end itself and goes into the opening of the post).

Notice! All of our jewelry is made to American standards and sizes. Have you already purchased a bar elsewhere and want to buy an end for it? There is a lot of Asian production on the market in Europe and often their jewelry has a thread of 0.8mm instead of 0.9mm. This jewelry is not compatible with the jewelry you find in our webshop.

In addition, the components of quality jewelry (regardless of the brand chosen) are perfectly matched, making the unscrewing of a complete piece of jewelry much less frequent. Of course, it remains important to regularly check the closure of your jewelry and, if necessary, tighten or push it back on properly (depending on the chosen closure system).
